Why not just bombarding our european streets with these? I'm sure it will send sandniggers back in their desert.

I was thinking about inserting 2 or 3 open cans in the aeration system of the big mosque in my city, is that a good idea?

How broken is your brain when the first thing you think about when you see surströming is mooslims

What about it do you like so much, OP? The flavor? The smell?

>> No.14279224

>>14279183
the flavour combined with the bread and butter. by itself it smells a bit, but not that bad once you have opened the container. it has nice texture too and is nice to chew on.

This is definitely one of those things that’s only around being young retards that browse /ck/ like to meme them and certain countries eat them because “muh culture” but not much else

In Minnesota my in-laws had a family gathering where they razzed everyone to eat "Lutfisk". I was no exception, but it wan't bad after you acclimate to it. It's got long Scandinavian history and kept them alive during shit times.

Is it the same concept with surströmming? Old survival food? How did it become such a thing?

most traditional food, especially up here in northern europe, is old survival food made to last long times during winter when there was no harvests. putting berries into jars after mashing em, storing apples in a cellar cuz they last the year if left alone. salt meat.
as for bread you could use sourdough, and with that you could make näkkileipä/knäckebröd, which is like raspy and coarse crackers, you toss em on a rack close to the roof to store em for the winter. pic related
you get the idea
