It's about 75% mild chili con carne, 25% tomato soup. It shouldn't offend anyone much on top of their potato. Eating it out of the bowl, it's not the best, and definitely better with cheese and green onions, and 2 packages of crushed crackers, and 2 packets of chili oil.

I worked at a Wendy’s in high school. All the discarded burger patties were put into a warming drawer and routinely cleaned out, put into bags, frozen and used in chili later on. I never was responsible for making the chili, but i do recall we made it in big stock pots using seasoning mix and base plus frozen ground beef.

I now work at a Culver’s and our chili just comes out of frozen bags we thaw out and pour into a pan on the steam table. I’ve never tried it at either place, so I don’t know.
