Normally, no. I don't order from places on repeat that I don't tip or treat well. I don't get a bunch of custom order shit and I meet them at their car.

But some guy with cerebral palsy or something delivered my food in the middle of the pandemic and went on a 2-minute long rant about there was nothing to worry about and he was sick of people. I don't know if it's just because he can't use his hands right or something, but my bag was open, the containers open, and I decided I'd just trash that shit.

During the daytime, adults tend to do this thing called work. Often, it's so draining they don't have enough energy to do much once they get home and settle. That's when they order delivery for dinner, and potentially leftovers for lunch the next day.

I don't think you'll ever have to worry about that. NEET life and mommy's cooking will keep you satisfied.

I'm pretty sure that I haven't had a delivery order fucked with but once for a pickup order they got the orders mixed up and I got an eggplant parm instead of a chicken parm from an italian joint. I didn't complain, the eggplant parm was good, I can't help wondering what the other person who got my chicken parm thought, did that person complain or just enjoy?

Pretty much. And as for being mentally drained you could always just make something simple, or better yet prepare it ahead of time on your days off. Just because you lack the willpower to make yourself some basic shit doesn't mean that nobody else is capable of it.

Eating days old leftovers is not a nice reward for a day's hard work when I want to relax. I work hard so I don't have to eat "basic shit." I also don't want to spend half of one of the two days of the week I get off preparing shit to just barely get by on.

Again, things people don't get until they have a real job with real responsibilities and consequences.

>> No.14263918

>>14263886
So instead you order basic shit from other people for inflated prices. No wonder you stress yourself out so hard with that kind of attitude towards money.

>> No.14263953

>>14263918
When shit isn't locked down or in some form of it, I probably eat out 2-3 times a week (part of my job involves going to dinner with people whether I like it or not, and I also have friends I want to see). I cook 1-2 nights a week. The rest I fill in with delivery, because I don't live in flyoverland and have a bunch of awesome options nearby.

I don't freak out about the $5 I'm not saving because I don't have to. My cooking isn't better than someone who cooks all day for a living. Is what it is.

>> No.14263963

>>14263953
$5 a day adds the fuck up anon, people don't do well by spending more money than they have to. Plus if you're eating out for the job surely the job would be comping you for it.

>> No.14264009

>>14263963
Yes, the job does comp me for it. Generally it's with vendors looking to get my business, so even then, it's paid by them. $5 here or there every few days doesn't add up compared to the mental strain of getting home, cooking, finally being able to eat, and then having like an hour to do whatever I enjoy and decompress from. Not trying to brag, but for perspective, I make over $100,000 a year before bonus, my mortgage is $800 a month, and I have a roommate who pays me $700/month. I can afford to spend a little bit more on that delivery fee and tip if it means I get a little break from life.

>> No.14264038

What the fuck kind of job are you doing if you only have 2 hours of free time every day?

>> No.14264043

I hope you reported that guy. Tards shouldn't be working regular jobs like that. This is why we have special laws that let employers pay them less than minimum wage. They get disability payments and if they want to work below minimum wage to keep busy they are welcome to. But it's not fair on the rest of society to employ them for regular jobs that they can't actually handle.
