I ordered two cheese burgers and a large diet soda the other day and opted for curbside because the line was kind of long.

Twenty fucking minutes I waited and the dumb shit that brought me my order forgot my drink and took another 5 minutes to bring that. $15 an hour my ass fuck these cunts. Next time I do drive thru I will not pull up when asked so that their shitty timer keeps going and ruins their average.

Working at a burger king taught me a lot about what goes on in these kinds of places.

Someone either made a huge mistake, forgot to prepare something, or they just don't give a shit.

Fryer either hasn't been cleaned properly like it's supposed to be or it hasn't been cleaned at all.

I had this happen at a Poppeye’s today, only the girl screeched at me to hold on in the middle of my order. Then, because it was a Poppeye’s, they inevitably fucked up my order. How is this chain so delicious yet so remarkably incompetent?

The Checkers, Churches, Taco Bell, and McDs near me used to do this as a matter of policy from their manager. No, I don't wish to park it because all I ordered is a soda, but they'll insist you do There is less of a safety issue associated with the driver window facing the restaurant window that is not the same as rolling down your window in a parking lot. Robbery, carjacking by gunpoint, all kinds of vulnerabilities not to be sitting in a parked car keeping your awareness up to dangers. Who wants that added waiting and stress when you just need a snack fast?

Drive throughs have cameras and timers that show how long people were in the drivethru from order start time to receipt, and well not served, just when they said they were served, and they're basically cheating their own system for the manager to get their approvals, bonuses, not fired or something like that.

Complain, patronize others who never do it, who operate with enough staff, charge the right prices to have more staff or staff training, or else never go back and go to their competition.

If this really bothers the shit out of you and don't wish to personally forever avoid them til they close then you have to be the instrument of change. Record it. Put it on Facebook on their page. Narrate the time in your car, say things like "oh yet again, I park it, and there's literally no one here right now, but it's always like this, and lets see how rude they are when I ask not to park". Be seen taking a photo or video while in the drive through. Do call the customer service phone numbers. A min wagie may not actually care if you complain. But, over time, they do know at corporate that people will neglect to come back to establishments who do that. Your needs are being placed beneath other customers. However, at this point in time, order ahead by phone or App is a pretty good argument to avoid it.
