I do not trust Australia. Did you see what they do with trade deals? They subsidise barley farmers to cheat very badly. And if you love your children it is a bad idea to make them students in Australia. So much racism it is very dangerous. Especially with this pandemic that they handle so badly. No wonder they blame China to hide from their big problems. They send bad drug sellers to other countries also. It is not a good place I believe.

Start with marmite. It's straight up called marmite, no brands to argue. After that, try vegemite - I think Kraft actually owns it, or at least makes their own in Murrica. The flavours are a little different between marmite and vegemite but if you enjoy savoury salty things, you might like them. Just don't go overboard on how much you use if you're unprepared for them, they have a strong taste.

Outback steakhouse house has absolutely nothing to do with Australia except for the decorations and the commercials, it's a gimmick. So I wouldn't even call it Australian American. The only food item that claims to be Australian is the OP and it's just a deep fried onion with a side of horseradish mixed with ketchup.

Plus there's no such thing as an Australian- American. Brits, Australians, Canadians, and Americans are the same people living in different locations. When you guys argue with eachother it's like your kids arguing who's the favorite.

I suppose that's right? I always felt marmite was "beefier" in taste, but maybe that's just me. A small jar will go quite a long way as well. Personally, I quite like it with macaroni cheese, but I bet you could put it with anything mild - it basically demands the centre stage of taste so anything that competes with it hard might just turn your meal into a mess.

No, that is precisely backwards. The Aussies get some weird version of Marmite with molasses, which is why they thing Vegemite is better. Marmite is stronger and meatier, while Vegemite has a bit of this awkward bitter cardboardy taste. Last time I bought Vegemite I had to throw it away as I can't even force myself to eat it, I can eat Marmite out the jar, although it's fucking strong like some kinda soy sauce paste.
