I had seen online that apparently butter in coffee is a thing. So I tried. Just why? Stupidest fucking idea ever.

>> No.14242558

If you thought it was a stupid idea then why did you try it?

In reality you thought it was a good enough idea to try. So if you were being truthful then you should be saying it was a decent idea but doesn't actually work.

It's pretty good in the morning so you can go long hours without eating since the fat in the morning keeps you full for 8 hours, if you research low carb diets and intermittent fasting, drinking one on your last meal is pretty good because then you can fast for 20 hours easily and lose weight by doing that, also it tastes great

>>14242613
no retard, I obviously tried it to see what's the deal, but found out it's just a melted fat layer floating on your coffee, what's the fucking point of that

>> No.14242639

>>14242619
the taste is nothing special, and if you are full for 8 hours by eating a little dab of butter you're a fucking mutant turtle

I understand. Not wise enough to identify an obvious bad idea before trying it. I heard people are eating tide pods too. Something to check out maybe.

bulletproof coffee was always a meme

I think you're supposed to take an immersion blender to it to imulsify it , still disgusting garbage though
just use heavey whipping creme, not that half and half shit either

Don't tell me you did the retard thing and just plonked a pad of butter in instead of pouring the coffee over it slowly while whisking with a fork.

>> No.14243751

The real reason is because you dont crash hard. You metabolise slower but dont get that caffeine hit like milk/coffee.

>> No.14243769

>>14242795
Shouldn't need to do that, just use ghee/clarified instead of straight-up butter.

what are you, gay?
put it all in a thermos, shake it, pour it back into a coffee cup if you care to.

isn’t ghee just butter without the milk solids? why wouldn’t that separate from the coffee too

Lazer coffee

>> No.14244871

>>14242533
It's usually done in places where refrigeration isn't common and fresh milk/cream isn't always available. Some guy just figured out how to turn it into a trendy health fad. If you have access to fresh milk/cream then there's not much of a reason to use butter.

This. I went on a camping trip for several days with limited food. Drinking coffee or any hot drink with a tab of butter is a good snack without depleting more valuable or labour intensive food sources.
