My dad gets weirdly passive aggressive when it comes to customer service and getting food. We were grabbing Popeyes for a family get together, and he wanted the big family deal and asked if 1 spicy piece of chicken was okay in the basket (cause they didn't have enough to completely fill it)

yeah but the demand has gotten larger too. Working at a fucking mcdonald's feels like working at an assembly factory now, of which I've done both in the last 3 years time. I'd rather work at mcdonald's though.
Service (working the drive through or front end cashiers) is easy as fuck and people who complain that service is hard are actually braindead. They should try working in grill. You know the saying "shit rolls down hill"? Well grill is at the bottom of that hill.

If an order gets sent out and it's wrong, they first look at the landing area. Usually it's the manager working there. Those guys don't ever admit to their mistakes, so they end up yelling at table, where they assemble the burgers and shit. Table will either say "yep, that was us" or blame grill for not cooking something right, depending on the issue with the food. If orders aren't coming out fast enough, you bet your ass the people on grill are going to be the ones feeling the heat.

I fucking hated working at mcdonalds simply because it was such a terrible job, but it's not an easy job. People who say fast food is an easy job are people who worked in some sleepy town, worked in service, or have never worked in fast food.
