Unironically, what's your favourite fast food burger (or other sandwich)?

Mine's the Roadhouse (bacon) King, from Burger King. 1,220 calories and it sits like a tonne of bricks, but fuck me if it isn't delicious.

Close second is a quadruple Baconator from Wendy's.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

My favorite was McDonald's original premium crispy chicken club sandwich. The one that was introduced in the early 2000s. I loved these so much that I would eat one nearly every day.

Their current crispy chicken is complete trash and doesnt even compare.

There isn't any sandwich available right now that I would call good, though. Fast food is pure convenience for me and I wouldn't go out of my way to get it like I would for that chicken sandwich.

Burger King's "King" line has gone downhill fast. The bacon is now not crispy or chewy, just kind of... there. The large patties are never hot enough, it's either that they have an exorbitant hold time that allows them to be lukewarm, or the management has widely instructed the cooks to take the burgers off early to save drive thru times.
It's sad, too, because I used to love the line despite BK having flavorless dry burgers, but about when the Stacker. King showed up the quality fell off again. I find Whoppers more enjoyable because the cold vegetables distract from the lukewarm meat and they give it some flavor besides Liquid Smoke, which is always absent at BK.

Economically, it makes sense. Let's say you sell x McDoubles and Y whatever item. You make a decent amount from the McDoublex, and supply for x costs are accounted for. Y costs are new, and aren't selling as well as [decades old item]. Takes slightly more time to prepare the y item, time cost and material and shipping and production for y are slightly higher, and across many chains it adds up. Short run, not profitable as they'd like it in as quick enough time, so deemed not worth the trouble.

It's stupid, but from modern corporate what else do you expect? May as well be the fuckin' 20's in terms of understanding consumers, since businesses are only focusing on short term gains and stocks rather than long term sustainability and popularity among consumers.
