Hey /ck/, so this is my 5th day of having covid and I completely lost my sense of smell and taste. I love cooking and always look forward to pick out a dish and cook it after I'm done with work for the day, but not being able to taste any food that I make is extremely depressing.

Can anyone recommend a dish that I could cook and "enjoy" eating? I can very vaguely make out if something is salty or if I add a fuck ton of hot sauce I can "feel" the spice.

Hoping my lost of smell/taste isn't permanently gone....

I don't think it'll be gone permanently but for the time being you should eat soup or ramen until you heal. might as well since they're cheap anyhow

I enjoy texture. Cheap powder parmesan on spaghetti, sprinkles in icecream, coarse ground pepper on meat. Am I a faggot? Maybe, maybe not. Give texture a try, my man.

For anyone that may see

This is one of the more distinctive symptoms of covid-19. Get tested. Help your fellow man

everyone loses their sense of smell and taste during a cold, lardass
just use hot sauce and lemon juice on everything if you care that much
