OP give it a try some time.

Honestly like once a year I cook one steak well done around lunchtime and just gnaw on it through the afternoon like it's a piece of jerky. Sometimes it's nice to have something to really chew the shit out of and work your jaw on.

the reason people here meme well done steak as being tough and dry is because there is not a single person on this board adept enough at cooking to make a juicy well done steak
to eat meat less than medium well is to cope with your inadequacy at cooking

The reason I love rarer meat is because I'd eat the flesh of a still breathing animal if I could legally and safely without dealing with factory farmed monstrosities.

Vegans are half right when they say you should eat the freshest food possible. They dont realize this includes flesh as well. Tons of nutrients in the flesh and blood of a living mammal that get lost when you cook it.
