Townsends for maximum comfy. The recipes he makes are usually pretty good albeit simple...which is to be expected from a channel focused on 18th century american history. Still, it's a good way to have an arsenal of relatively easy and tasty meals at your disposal that are also a little different than typical western faire, considering the recipes are 200+ years old.

Binging with Babish- Arguably the best educator out of all the channels I've listed. Very easy to follow along.

GugaFoods/SousVideEverything- Watch the video where he dry ages a brisket for 60 days and smokes it.

Sam the Cooking Guy- Makes really good sandwiches, essentially really good at making food you'd eat with your hands. Has a lot of cool kitchen and cooking equipment.

Joshua Weissman- I particularly enjoyed his videos on knife sharpening and reseasoning cast iron

Food Wishes- his voice makes every thing he says sound like a question, but the food he makes looks very appetizing and he covers a wide range of cuisines

Grandpa Kitchen is comfy. Not gourmet or fancy by any means. They tell you ingredients as they cook, but that's about it. It's a nice quiet cooking show.

Cooking outdoors in India over campfires, but they make massive amounts of food and bring it to the homeless and orphans.
not quite AS good since Grandpa died, but his sons carry on feeding the homeless.

As snarky and cringe as he can get i think the best youtube chef is Joshua Weissman. i work as a chef and his techniques and recipes are actually really good. i don't like his attitude but i think he's my favorite youtube chef because i can see he's well studied and practices good techniques. for the norman homecook i'd recommend him. after that daddy jack from cookin wit da blues is awesome. im super into bbq too so i think the best bbq youtubers are all things barbecue and harry soo.
