When it comes to making breakfast sandwiches, why does it seem people always use fired egg or scrambled egg styles and nobody tries to replicate the "egg patty" approach commonly used at fast food restaurants?

Well, I do. I've found just how easy it is. All you do is basically prepare to make scrambled eggs, but you never scramble them, you just let it cook into a sheet in the pan, cover it and flip if you're a stickler for totally evenly cooked eggs, and boom, you've got a perfectly flavorful full yellow egg sheet/egg patty.

They make little metal rings with a handle to use as a mold when you fry eggs, we used them in the kitchen I worked at to make burgers with a fried egg on top. You can also scramble an egg into them, gives you a perfect circle every time.

each of these has a slight variation
my conclusion: english muffin in the toaster, not the pan. butter on one side. salt, pepper, chives only. runny yolk with crispy edges fried in olive oil at 3/10 heat with my device. american cheese is the best choice

i worked at this over the last couple days and not only did i zero-in on the best formula, i also had some of the best bowel movements i've ever had

my chick got one of those and if the pan is even slightly uneven it just leaks out and you feel like a complete faggot
the texture of the crispy edges of a fried egg is important for the egg sandwich. if you care about shape just nibble around the edges like you're trimming shrubs. then you have a perfectly-shaped egg for your sandwich that you can enjoy with your boyfriend

it makes one think that your stepmother continues to have sex with african americans and you're just up there trying to hold the pillows so tightly over your ears but you'll never be able to make that sound go away

I use a mason jar rim. Need to give it hella PAM to prevent sticking. Start with it lip side down- almost never get any leakage that way. Part II to keeping it in one piece is to make sure the pan is screaming hot before cracking pouring in the egg, then turn it down right as soon as it's in. Sears the bottom just enough to hold its shape.

I always do when doing breakfast sandwiches. I like to put the bread on while it's not quite cooked so it soaks in while cooking, plus it kinda steams the bread a bit. A fried egg sandwich is great but is its own thing.

Why not just use a tamago pan, or buy some egg rings.

absent. didn't do anything for me, and i tried several. crispy bacon is the closest to being good, but i don't think meat improves the egg sandwich
