Depends what you're after. There are a lot of ways to boil, poach, and fry eggs. Are you making them into something? For just straight up boiled eggs, marjoram, tarragon and dill are pretty good, especially if you're into the whole eggs n soldiers scene. Fried eggs are good with a little cayenne or paprika, maybe some cumin. Omelettes kind of have carte-blanche - you can scallion, ginger and soya your way to an egg fu yung. You can oregano and chili it into a more Mexican vibe. You can do some more continental European with marjoram, tarragon, dill, and shallots... Lots of options. Have fun.

There aren't too many guidelines. Eggs are a bit sulfurous, but fairly neutral.

It's more geographical than anything. French/wypipo food - dill, tarragon (expensive, but you don't need much), parsley, and marjoram (or oregano).

Asian stuff can be hit pretty close to the mark with soya sauce, a tiny splash of vinegar, green onion/scallion, and ginger. A small bit sesame oil or seed (or tahini), and some pork, chicken, tofu, cabbage, mushroom, or whatever kind of filler, will also help.

More tex-mex flavours can be hit with some hot pepper or pepper sauce, paprika and cumin / chili powder, oregano, and some cheese.

Greek can be fairly nailed with olive oil, lemon, dill, oregano and a bit of salty cheese like feta, kefalotyri or halloumi.
