My roommate drives me up the fucking wall
How can someone be so insanely picky and yet eat nothing but total shit? He completely refuses to try anything he doesn't regularly eat, but practically lives off chicken nuggets and pizza.

I know it's none of my goddamn business but watching him eat Dominos for the 1000th time is mind-numbing.

I get that OP. My old roommate ate only take out from the same 3 places or microwave meals.. Anytime I cooked he'd sit in the kitchen staring at my food and wouldnt budge until I offered him the leftovers, which he'd eat all of, but still say werebt as good as his moms. For reference his moms was mostly box stuff, cold and reheated, and I left the apartment at 20 having stayed 2 years, he was 26 when I moved out still unable to cook anything. Its not being picky its just lazy and childish.
