Aside from the mushrooms, bbq sauce, and hot dogs, it's a pretty basic chili recipe. I mean, the order they add things in is different than how I would do it, but everything (except maybe the worcestershire) is chili 101.

Mushrooms and hot dogs are just extra protein; they're weird but it's not like they're changing the basic flavor profile. Worcestershire makes sense and is pretty common; I only brought it up because it's not something everybody adds, but again, it's not really going to change things too much. So yeah, the bbq sauce is the only really weird thing. OP could have just said the bbq sauce doesn't make sense instead of calling the entire recipe absolutely dreadful and retarded.

I actually made this when I was a retarded child. The sweetness of the BBQ sauce overpowers every other seasoning, making the thing taste disgusting. Probably didn't help that I used Kraft brand BBQ sauce.
