It literally doesn't. Not for me, at least. I've been smoking high nicotine products such as vapes and hookahs for about 5 years now and I went cold turkey for months with zero cravings.

my man, the whole reason vapes were invented was as a smoking cessation tool. they are noticeably less addictive than cigs. everything is less addictive than cigs, that's why they took over the tobacco market

I'm an alcoholic tho, lmao.

But for some reason nicotine has the same effect as a good food for me. Like one day you may think "Damn, I would really like to go for a good steak right now." but you aren't going to go out and pay like $80 for a steak just because you have that craving. Same goes for me with nicotine.

I suppose the same can go for me with alcohol, though. I only drink so much of it because I can get a lot for a reasonable amount.
