Pretty sick place to work, but the GM was a faggot and he refused to fix the place up or hire additional workers.

One of my bosses disconnect it because he was checking the inventory, but he forgot to connect it again.

Lmao I just got let go from Jimmy John's not too long ago. I was a driver. All the other drivers were constantly taking time off and once I covered one of them they all began to ask if I could cover. I covered a lot of shifts and never took a day off for about 4 months.

One day my band practice went a little late and I was drunk. I took a day off and I got a write up. Fought the write up and got fired. Seems like this is a common theme, managers don't notice when I'm busting ass but one mistake and it's all over. Can't stand that shit. I fucking hate the restaurant business and I won't go back. She would always order the same thing but couldn't remember what it was even though she came in very regularly. Trying to have a conversation with her was like driving through a neighborhood and constantly running into dead ends. Any time you would to engage her about whatever insane shit she was rambling on about she would look at you and say, "What?" as if you were the idiot for asking questions or something. A few stories about her are:

Oof, reminds me of the one big spill I've had in my career. It was coconut curry sauce. I had the half hotel pan on a shelf with maybe 25% of it sticking out. I was trying to make room for it on a higher shelf when a dressing bottle I was holding by the lid fell out of my hand, clipped the pan and flung the sauce all over me and the walk-in. Luckily we were dead that day so I had all the time in the world to clean it up.
