Because being pushed to do shit by the media just puts a bug up my ass. I have no problem eating shit like that, I used to cook up mealworms just because they seemed interesting, but when I see teenage Sw*des with fetal alcohol syndrome telling me to eat bugs to save the planet, all it makes me want to do is eat a T-bone steak out of spite. I'm sure this post is going to get mocked mercilessly by Euros and met with plenty of mutt memes, but this is the main reason. Americans don't like being told what to do.
