Imagine being in Wisconsin where like 50% of bars have straight up excellent curds

Lakefront Brewery has the best

Freddy's is mid tier at best

I've found that the best was actually from Camino at Walkers Point. Lakefront is great though, great place to hang out with college friends when I was there.

To add onto this, Safe House is mediocre food there are so many options for good curds.
Milwaukee Ale House
Eagle Park
Stubby's
Von Trier
Those are the best. Fuck I hate that I miss this town.

Can't argue with that. Camino is also great. Also love Old Fashioned in Madison, 8th St Ale house in Sheboygan (but Milwaukee is still the best place for curds)

Eagle Park is just the best, I don't know them for their curds specifically but super underrated food overall and arguably the best beer in the city. Those duck pierogies

>>14103106
It's been ~3 years but whatever dipping sauce Camino puts with their curds is by a good margin the best in the city. Quote me on that. Haven't been to others but I'm just a huge Milwaukee fan, quality city only even been to Madison twice.
>>14103113
I had one and yeah, quite good. Wasn't expecting it either.

nah, its the opposite. culver's is still good but freddy's has better burgers and way better ice cream. plus (at least in wisconsin) like 50% of the time I would order from culver's the 14-year-olds that work there would fuck it up somehow

No thanks. I’ll take my “really good” cheese curds and a plethora of other good food rather than live in Wisconsin and have “great” cheese curds and then a mix of canned slop casseroles, deep fried fad foods and diner fare.

>> No.14108223

>>14107594
lol what are you even talking about? Milwaukee and Madison have excellent food scenes

>deep fried fad foods
Do you honestly think midwesterners eat "fair food" at home, or any time besides the at most once per year they go to the state fair?

Holy shit... the flyover seethe is strong today. I don’t know where you faggots get the idea that “coasties” only have $30 dishes that consist of 2 spinach leaves and a tomato wedge, but that’s completely inaccurate. We have literally everything that flyovers have at the prices that are either the same or better. The difference is we have a lot more options and a much larger variety of flavor options than flyovers. Meanwhile, flyovers are busy “Inventing” new hotdog toppings and making burgers with their factory farmed Walmart ground beef selection. I can’t imagine being proud of this. Wisconsin cheese is shit, btw. Cry more, flyover babies.

>> No.14110995

>>14110971
All the food you're so proud of was grown in those flyover states. Have some respect.

>> No.14111005

>>14110995
No it wasn’t. It was all grown locally. Flyover states grow the crops that are used to feed our cows/pigs/chickens. Literally full of factory farms that grow low quality products to be used as animal food and Walmart-tier product. Non-flyover states grow the human food.
