Korea is called Hanguk in Korean, so Kmart doesn’t make sense cause they don’t even call themselves Korean. The H stands for Han Ah Reum, a Korean phrase meaning "one arm full of groceries" (한아름)

I'm no expert. I believe you asked about soju in the whisky thread but in case that wasn't you I recommend either jinro24 as a good starter. try the chamisul version which is softer than the 24 and a good starting point.

the thing to keep in mind about soju and sochu is that compared to sake it's dirt cheap. you should buy a bunch of 375ml bottle and try out a bunch.

and hey if you don't like it straight, toss it in a glass with lemonade and a mint sprig. delicious summer drink!

I've noticed that the food quality, particularly meat quality at Hmart is leagues above any other supermarket, with the only exception being Whole Foods.

Whole Foods > Hmart > every other shit store around me

The meat lacks that "watery" translucent sheen that prevents it from searing well. I think it's because creaturas allow their meat to be injected with water-holding chemicals, which increase sale prices as you just pay $10/lb for water.

It's not all cuts of meat, I'd say about half are high quality, and half are watery. If I go into a Stew Lenards, or BJs, or Stop and Shop, literally all of the meat has the watery look.
