I got salmonella and had black putrid liquid vinegary shits for a week. It's not like you have diarrhea once then it's over. Had to wake up once or twice every night to go shit too, and just had a feeling that something was wrong in that area the whole time. Can even fuck up your gut flora and make you have issues for months after. And that's not considering people who are more vulnerable who will have much more serious issues if they get it.
