However, when I make a tuna melt or something like that where it's cheese going in the broiler, there's cheese that'll run off and get all crunchy. That stuff tastes EXACTLY like a cheez-it. So, I bet you could just put shredded cheese in a very thin layer on some oiled parchment and make that in a few minutes. Try it out.
