How do you deal with lamb smell?

>> No.14070741

there are ways to dumb it down or make it work, I just ignore it and eat with my throat close and avoiding breathing.

I only remember it from my childhood. Dad loved it and mom would stuff it with garlic to cover the horrid stench. It was leg of lamb. He liked liver too so he would pretty much eat any slop you prepared.

Store bought lamb is pure trash. Only buy from a local farmer who raised it themselves. Just as good as beef.

lamb and mutton smell like whatever farm it grows up on. like horseshit. Unpleasant. OP's pic probably doesn't since there are ways to draw out and remove the smell depending on how it's cooked and what it's prepared with/in, but it's usually an advanced technique. Unless you wanna end up overpowering it with aromatics.
