It’s a fucking scam. The microwave industry paid the frozen burrito industry to tell you to use the microwave longer so you run out of waves faster and you have to buy a refill or a new microwave.
In reality all you have to do is put the whole burrito in the microwave at once for 45-60 seconds and all the sides will get waved. There’s absolutely no need to split the burrito into sides and microwave them separately.

No. The "two sides" of any burrito are the top layer where the tortilla is flat and the bottom layer where the tortilla is folded into itself.
