14040766 No.14040766 [Reply] [Original]

I'm taking care of my 7 year old nephew while my sister and he husband go away this weekend. I asked her what he likes to eat and she said "he'll eat pretty much anything". While it's nice to know he's not a picky eater, I really am not sure of the extent that applies to a 7 year old and I'm not sure how "child friendly" the food I normally keep around is. The only children's food that I know of is pepperoni pizza, but I'd like to do more than order that for every meal. Since he is open, I'd like to introduce him to new things that don't want to go too crazy.

So, what I'm asking is do you guys have any idea for children's food other than pepperoni pizza? Pepperoni pizza is a very easy children's food to obtain and every child (and adults with the palate of a child) enjoy it, but I'd like to try to get him used to adult foods young so maybe he'll enjoy cooking one day.

(pic kinda related, child eating children's food)

I was never given children's food as a child and it didn't adversely affect me. I suggest you make nprmal meals, just be careful with spice levels and naturally strong flavours. Don't make it out to be anything strange either - children often develop a strong psychological aversion to food if you do.

Worry about texture the most, 99% of the time that's what puts a kid off the most. Can't go wrong with grilling either

Yeah, my goal was to avoid spicy food, though I normally enjoy it myself. I was considering grilling some homemade burgers one of the nights since kids enjoy burgers and I can make them better than what he's used to and open up those flavors. Was also thinking maybe making some fried chicken cutlets. Easy, delicious and neutral in terms of "extreme" flavors.

My nephews like roasted sweet potatoes because they’re sugary. And sushi because it’s pretty, finger food friendly, and you can dip it in a sauce. In my experience, kids really like soup.

Can't go wrong with pyttipanna. Very basic recipe, it's just diced sausage, potato and onions fried in a pan and served with a fried egg. And don't forget ketchup. Kids love ketchup.

Don't go too crazy with the food. Your job isn't to try out new recipes or introduce him to new foods. You want to be seen as the cool uncle? Stick with established foods that any kid will like:

Day 1
breakfast: pancakes with syrup and butter, with a fruit smoothie to drink
Lunch: pizza (if you don't want to make a pizza yourself, easy as fuck BTW, just buy a frozen one). Stick with cheese and pepperoni
Dinner: roasted chicken (if you don't want to prepare one yourself, go get a rotisserie chicken from Costco), rice, and tomato soup

Day 2
Breakfast: breakfast skillet of hashed browns, breakfast sausage, bacon, peppers and onions, and white country gravy. Side of toast and butter

Lunch: cheese burgers and fries. Again if you don't want to make it yourself, ask him if he has a preferred favorite burger place and get a to go order

Dinner: spaghetti and meatballs, side of garlic bread. You can get both frozen and prepackaged at any supermarket if you want

Day 3
breakfast: bowl of cereal, and plop his ass down in front of the TV to watch cartoons/some kids shit on Netflix

Lunch: Italian style sandwich - Italian cold cuts, mozzarella, bacon, mayo, lettuce, and ask him if he likes onions and tomatoes. Don't force it on him. Bag of chips.

His parents should be back by then.

Again don't try and force him to eat uncomfortable shit, he's not gonna want to eat salmon nicoise or a veal shank or some shit. This also extends to activities: don't force him to spend time with you if he doesn't want to. If he likes sports, bust out the football and throw the ball around. If he likes action movies, put some cape shit on the TV. If he's got the makings of a super autist who can't handle human contact, let him play fortnite or whatever and leave him the fuck alone. I've spent many a days with family members who mean well but took me to do a bunch of shit I didn't want to do. Don't do that.

Oh dear. The little faggots been brainwashed into thinking he’s a little girly has he? What a sick, sad world we live in.
Well, you should put him out of his misery, his life will not be a happy one.
But before you slit his throat, pound that little boi pussy to show him what it really means to be a girl. He’ll realize his mistake as his life is seeping away from him, as your cum is seeping down his ass pipe.
After, you’ll have to flee, somewhere like Cambodia should be good to ensure you never face repercussions for your mercy kill. Also, your actions will have awakened a dark beast inside of you, and let’s just say that Cambodia is the devils playground for your, ahem, newfound fancies.

Try cooking some of the more simple dishes you normally eat and to keep a decent nutritional balance. When there's a certain ingredient he doesn't like try mixing it into other foods like omelettes, pasta or risottos, usually kids don't like something because of its aspect or texture, so you just need to change that.
Try to avoid spice heavy foods in general.
