Lobster roll and clam chowder. It almost feels a little TOO stereotypical to use these, but it’s pretty accurate for New England. Lobster rolls are more of a summer thing, but you can get clam chowder year round almost anywhere.

Very savory, especially if you top with meat. Its very unhealthy because its a glorified pile of salt, gravy, carbs and cheese but it is really amazing if authentic. If you want to try it yourself its relatively straightforward to make, the only real problem is finding curds.

Lentils with Spätzle (and a wiener called Saitenwurst) is the national dish of Swabia. The Swabian Alb (like Alps) is a rocky region with thin soil and few streams, so lentils were one of the few crops that grew well.
The lentils are stewed with vegetables including sauteed onions and finished with a glug of red wine vinegar.

Unironically yes. Scouse or lobscouse is actually Norwegian but became a highly common meal served on ships. Liverpool at it's peak having one of the largest ports and most important port in the British Empire, possibly even the world, naturally had a lot of sailors who took lobscouse, shortened to just scouse, back home with them. This is why people from Liverpool are scousers. Pickled red cabbage may have been added by scousers.

It's white rice with canned tuna, olive oil, olives, dill pickles, onions, capers, peas, diced ham or wurstel, diced Fontina or Emmental cheese (I usually have half Fontina half Taleggio), hardboiled eggs, fresh tomatoes and sweet corn if you like it.
I like it with a little mayo on top, but you can squeeze some lemon juice or vinegar.

Sweden

For me its definetly swedish sweetwater crayfish, only in season late summer but you can buy frozen year round. My go to dinner on my birthday even though its out of season.

This is what it consist of: Crayfish boiled in sugar, salt, beer and krondill(special kind of dill), white bread, butter, Västerbotten(swedens most famous and best cheese, taste like a softer and nuttier parmesan), aioli and of course beer and snaps(booze with spices). Doesnt get any better then this, very messy though.

Oh and faggots only eat claws and tail, real connoisseurs suck the body dry and eat the meat on the ribs and the "butter". The smaller the crayfish the more delicate and the small ones with a wide tail are females and are consider the best ones.

Central California
Stew, with just about any meat but rabbit is my favorite. I keep it simple; stock and tomatos for the broth, with a little red wine, potatoes with the skin on, carrots (I like to use multiple colors just to make the dish look a little more fun), celery, rosemary and thyme, onions, garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne, and meat. I make it probably once a month, usually lasts about a week. I tend to do something a little different each time but typically my foundation is what's listed here. Nothing fancy or new.
