How do I cook frozen beef burger patties in the oven?
I don't like to pan fry them because they produce so much grease and gunk up my ventilation fan.
Cooking outside is not an option.
They're about inch thick frozen patties.
How long and at what temp?

First, soak the patties in 1 cup of white vinegar with 1/4 cup of kosher/sea salt per patty to neutralize the fat receptors in the beef and making them tender. Then preheat the oven to 500 and turn on the broiler, and when hot, place patty's on aluminum foil on a rack 1 inch below broiler and broil for 10 minute each side. Done.

Sandwich the frozen meat between the arse cheeks of an extremely overweight woman. Allow the circumference of the meat disc to lightly touch the anus and vulva area.

Allow time to marinate and cook

Remove the meat and smell it. It should smell like foot odour, cheese, musky vagina and sweaty meat.

Put it in your mouth. Pop it in your open mouth.

Not sure if serious.

Frozen burger patties don't give oven directions, only pan fry and microwave directions.

Broil them.
Place the rack on the highest level.
Salt and pepper the patties.
Broil until brown on one side, then flip and do the other.
A broiler is just an upside-down grill.

A very light bit of oil in a sheet pan to prevent sticking before the fat renders. Space as far apart as possible, bake at 400 until done, which for these will be around 160, unfortunately.

Ok fuck it then, not gonna bake it. I don't want it to splatter and create grease.
I'm just gonna steam it, but have no idea for how long.

>steam
Nah dude. Bake it at 400 for 20 minutes, check on it periodically. It'll be fine.

Thaw them first?

>> No.13946162

I ended up steaming them.
10 minutes both sides.
My lid didn't have a hole in it so the steam blew everywhere and got everything wet.
The patty ended up pretty dried out but that's probably because all the fat rendered and dripped into the water, but it didn't bother me because it tasted ok.
Only problem is I can only do one at a time this method because the pot I'm using can't fit so many patties. I can do at most two end to end I think.

Thaw, marinate in red wine and herbs, dry and salt both sides, place on a wire rack on a rimmed baking sheet and in the fridge for a few hours. Then under the broiler on high with a remote thermometer probe in one of the patties. Flip when it gets to half the desired internal temperature, and then cook till desired temperature.
