Post uncommon foods that people should try at least once

For me, it's a braunschweiger sandwich. It's an extremely savory flavor of liver and then tangy from the mustard and onions to give it some texture/cut through the thick aroma of the meat. Very powerful sandwich in all aspects.

I drink lots of vinegar. That cleans out my system, and even cleans my teeth (I haven’t brushed in years, and haven’t had a cavity since).

I also eat a vinegar sandwich pretty much every day – to counterbalance the effects the vinegar has on my liver. I make my sandwiches on sourdough (because it’s the most acidic bread), with mayo (because vinegar is the best emulsifier; I use kewpie, because the yuzu makes it more acidic), prepared yellow mustard (vinegar is good for the white blood cells), zucchini pickles (because they taste like vinegar), and a bunch of vinegar-soaked baby spinach (just for filler; it could honestly be replaced with extra vinegar).

I also eat a lot of canned fish (mostly sardines packed in vinegar, but also the occasional fancy smoked oysters in vinegar) on vinegar-soaked saltines. They give you all your essential acetic acids, and provide a nice opportunity to try out various hot sauces, which are generally very low in calories, while high in vinegar and immensely prodigious to healthiness.

Aside from that, I drink large amounts of vinegar (anywhere between ice-cold to slightly chilled) every day, always through a straw, and sometimes with a lemon wedge.

To each their own, I say, but I’m just shy of 30 and my shits are more vinegary than most of you.

That sounds delicous. I don't think I could ever get that authentically here in east coast america.

One uncommon food item that I would say alot of people havent tried/ dont even know exit would be bacalao guisado con papa aka stewed salted codfish with potato. It can be served for dinner but its especially good with eggs and plantains. This is the Caribbean version the way its served at least

Lmao this is very common where I'm from, I grew up eating these in my lunch at school and my wife still eats them pretty much weekly, we always have braunschweiger in the fridge. Only I always used more raw onion than that.

My entry for your consideration is Russian dried fish. The best beer snack in the world, except maybe Asian dried squid with that sweet seasoning.

The only americans who really eat seafood are people who are directly living on the coast or on by giant freshwater lake. Those fish look delicious and savory as hell. A tomato and cucumber salad and a piece of crusty bread and a semi hard white cheese looks good with that

This is a retarded statement. It's like saying you don't like sausage because it's not fresh. That's the point of sausage. It preserves and adds different flavors.
