Making an omelette is simple!

1. Open a can of instant white potatoes and mash them until smooth and creamy.

2. Once smooth, add your eggs, a tsp. oil, and sour cream.

3. Mix this well and pour it into a large bowl.

4. Add your reserved egg yolk, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese. Mix thoroughly.

5. Lastly, add your breadcrumbs.

6. Take a spoonful of this mixture and form it into an omelette.

7. Place it in the oven on 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degrees Celsius) for 30 to 35 minutes.

The instructions above can be applied to any type of omelette. However, I would recommend using white rice as the cereal (whole grain) in your omelette. Whole grain bread crumbs won't work here because of the richness of the white rice.

8. Carefully remove the Omelette from the oven and garnish with chopped scallions and a dollop of sour cream.

9. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or mashed potatoes.


It's easy to make delicious homemade omelettes, but they taste so much better when they're prepped ahead of time. It's easy.
