Some fruit juices are shit, but I don't get why people are such fanatics about hating all of them

Too much fruit juice can actually result in sclerosis of the liver. It’s also packed with sugar.

I'm pretty sure most juices have added sugar or HFCS, unlike true fruits. Are you genuinely stupid or am I being trolled?

The problem is that it's very easy to gulp down lots of juice but you'll probably never eat half as many fruits in the same time.
A quick lookup says 3 medium apples make 1 cup of juice. If I'm thirsty I can down that in an instant but I wouldn't eat 3 apples in a row and come back for more.
If you limit yourself to a reasonable portion of real fruit juice there's no problem.

>I'm pretty sure most juices have added sugar or HFCS,
Do Americans really add sugar to their juice?

>> No.13895598

Do you not know how this works? If a company wants to sell juice they can sell more product by adding water to the juice. Adding water dilutes the sweetness of the juice, so they'll add sugar/HFCS to sweeten it.
And it's the companies that do this, not necessarily people stirring in spoonfuls of sugar into their morning OJ.

this is the actual answer, also juice has little to no fiber
