Not really germaphobic, I just know someone who used to be like that and every time I see something like that, I'm reminded of how my friend would leave stuff sitting out for weeks on end claiming that he was interested in mold. He was and still is lazy, but at least he finally stopped letting trash sit out until it formed mold and bacteria. He also, was constantly either sick or getting sick during that time, and he hasn't been like that since he started cleaning up after himself.
