Recently had this. Very light tasting and drinkable for a Schwarzbier. Too bad it's kinda expensive and only sold in Brunswick. I wish they'd have made it more authentic to the original one from the late medieval/early modern age though as Mumme is the oldest known Schwarzbier in history.

Irishfag here

For normal drinking in my hometown (Cork), I drink Murphys.

Stout doesn't travel well, so best to drink it as close to the source as possible. So if I'm in Dublin I'll drink Guinness, it's amazing up there by comparison.

O'Haras do a strong stout called Leann Follain that I quite like.

Galway Bay also do a milk stout called Buried at Sea that's breddy good.

For porter, Guinness produce a West Indes Porter, supposedly from an old recipe, that's very tasty.

If you can find it, there's a small brewery in Ireland called St Mel's that do a Raisin & Oatmeal Stout that I just can't find anymore, but I remember being great

It's too bad that most IPAs are absolute dogshit and seem really low effort. I mean, when the craze was a thing, IPAs were nothing else but flexing on muh bitterness. Now trend is sours and I feel personally attacked. I've been drinking those for years and now they've become some Frankenstein monsters of flavors instead of anything well thought out.
