Vending machines that can make pizzas in 3 minutes. Quality and taste is irrelevant. High end pizzerias will still survive but the cheap shitty pizza places - their days are numbered.

So it's a machine that cooks frozen pizzas for you? People can already buy frozen pizzas and cook them themselves, how exactly is this going to drive pizza places out of business?

How is this Dominos mission statement and yet they're the most successful chain?

>> No.13889427

They already have a machine like this at the 711 behind my house and I live in a flyover hick town. They're a bunch of 711 branded frozen pizzas in a freezer, you just pay for it and stick it in for a few minutes and out comes a box of shitty frozen pizza.

This is not new, but more importantly where the fuck would these go?
Even in Japan where vending machines are literally everywhere, food vending machines are less common and hot food vending machines even less so.
And fuck, shitty chain pizza isn't about being good, it's about being conveniently delivered which is more important now than ever.

>Goodbye Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Dominos

they were goodbye'd a decade ago by the increasing quality of digiorno and freschetta

i don't understand you guys and the ordering pizzas. shit like freschetta is literally better than any delivery pizza. it's not even close.

Pretty low on the frozen pizza hierarchy, tbqh senpai. May as well buy totinos while you're at it.

No. iirc, it makes the pizza to order. It measure out dough, squirts on the sauce, sprinkles the cheese, adds the topping(s) and bakes that shit. Or, at least, the version I saw (which had a window in it so you can watch the whole process) did.

Vending machine pizza literally tastes way better than pizzahut. Their pan pizzas used to be amazing 15 years ago but now they are pure cancer.

In fact pizza delivery companies are hiring in big numbers right now. Furloughed executives will now be delivering pizza.

Something that sophisticated is going to be expensive enough to build and maintain that you're only going to see it in nicer areas and it won't exist in shitty areas, aka the ones where places like Little Caesar's really thrive

Digiorno is among the worst frozen pizzas and on the same level of quality as any store brand despite costing twice as much, and Freschetta is only a little bit better, neither can compare to even a cheap chain pizza

But if you like crust with the taste and consistency of wonderbread, sickly sweet sauce, and cheese that's sparsely covering the pizza and doesn't melt properly, more power to you I guess
