Got a shit load of this. What can I use it for, white brethren of virtue, anime, and online racism?

Marinate meats, toss it into a stir fry, use it to give sauces a bit more pep, you can use it for almost anything.

>> No.13886979

id use it for the chili paste in kee mow

>> No.13886981

Is that like sambal? It's good to mix into something to make it spicy like fried rice or lo mein. Also mix it with plain greek yogurt and use it as a condiment.

>>13886981
It's like a more oily sambal with a fairly rounded taste, yeah.

>> No.13887001

I’ve only used it as a sauce base for Chinese style chicken dishes. Works well for kung pow chicken

Toss some with noodles for a quick and easy stir-fry lunch.
You can add onions or peanuts or some sesame oil or whatever's on hand really.

I like a dollop on hummus. Supremely spicy, crunchy and garlicky.

It really shines if you can keep it crunchy, so though it's good on hot food or in soups and as a recipe base, I like to spoon it as a relish from the side of the plate, and enjoy a little with each forkful of a stir fry or rice dish. Is it only Asian? Oh no. It's delicious on mexican food and cajun food both. It goes on the side with any of these recipes, or on top of a recipe. It's excellent in grilled cheese, and in a fried egg sandwich, as a relish for any cooked meat. I slather it on chicken wings with a bit of orange zest. It's great on ribs, steaks. It's got the umami to replace an A1.

This morning I had leftover cold cooked penne in the fridge, and warmed some peanut butter, stirred in some ginger-soy salad dressing, sesame oil, curry powder, squeeze of lime, just raided the pantry, and tossed into the noodles, and sprinkled over a thin layer of chili crisp on top of my "satay" style pasta salad. No need for onions, or other veggies. Cucumber on the side.

So, use it where you would use some sambal, but pay attention to keeping the delightful crunch.

I mix it up with fermented black bean paste andd a bit of soy sauce, put that on top of rice with 2-3 sunny side up eggs.

Put spring onion on top! It's a basic recipe idea and you can add all kinds of things to it you've got lying around.

When the egg yolk gets into the rice and Lao Gan Ma, that shit tastes so good

Real good chili sauce is the Vietnamese Fried Chili paste stuff, it really brings the heat and flavor
