You don't just start dough rising every morning while you brew your coffee? If I want pizza, it's pizza; if I want sandwich bread or hamburger buns or breadsticks, then it's that instead.

If you cook, you probably have ingredients. If you don't cook and just arbitrarily decide you want to make pizza, yeah, you're going to run into issues. Sounds like the problem is that you're too used to other people doing it for you to know how to do it yourself.
