Do you really need dairy?

I understand:
Fruits - get some vitamins that other food types don't have; like vitamin C, it's like a fancy "Grains"
Grains - main source of energy
Protein - raw material to repair the body, replace old cells
vegetable - I'm assuming this means the green leaves kind, this gives you fiber, a type of food that just turns into poop because you don't really need it, it just makes you feel full, it's basically fake food, because you really don't need to eat that much

Dairy - ???

I don't really have dairy anymore. It fucks my stomach up. Gives me bad gas that always turns to the squirts.

I do endulge in a lil ice cream from time to time. I love it so much but I can't handle the side effects anymore like I could 3 or 4 years ago.

You’re really really dumb. That plate is nonsense. You don’t need grains, although they provide easy and large amounts of energy, you can just replace them by eating more veggies. Veggies should optimally be the largest portion, that’s where you’re gonna get most of your vitamins and minerals. The grains should be replaced with legumes. Dairy is unnecessary, but not bad, great source of fat and minerals, and extra calories. Fruits have lots of vitamin, but you can eat them as snacks, no need to fit them into a meal. Protein is fine as it is (honestly no mire than 1/4-1/3 of your calories should come from animal protein source).

You can live without it but it's a decent source of protein and B vitamins and some fermented dairy contains good probiotics.
