No it's not. Sicilian pizza is no different from any other pizza, it's just square.

Detroit style pizza is baked in heavy oil, making the crust crunchy and gold on the outside. Detroit style pizza also has no outer "crust" on the edge, it has cheese and topping to the edge and has a well done cheese edge.
