i want some kind of medical nutrient paste like soylent but more medical and scientific. please forget whatever annoying associations you have with soylet; i am also annoyed by it. there should be a free food equivalent to water that can sustain you. some kind of nutrient vitamin paste. what is it; what can i create. i looked this up years ago and people have to put a $50 down payment on oat flour bought in bulk to begin creating their own disgusting soylent-adjacent abomination nutrient paste. my autism makes me frustrated by the 'inefficiency' of foods. im just going to shit it out explosively as a brown liquid 24 hours after the fact why does it need look elegant as i eat it; it hate myself and unable to love myself by eating 'good' food. i crave efficiency and performance. please help. i want something i can squeeze out of a toothpaste tube or drink out of a camelback mid-masturbation so i don't waste too much effort and time crafting some food i am going to eat in 5 seconds anyway

You'll want what people use for nasogastric feeds in hospital or if you want to take it a step further, whatever they inject with total parental nutrition where they inject food into your veins. Both are ridiculously expensive though.

i've been seeing more and more of these posts. i haven't made my own soylent in a few years but i ate it for two years straight in college. outside of owning a blender, it costs maybe 20$ in stuff if you buy it in small portions (oats, chia, cacao, etc.). i modified the recipe to be made with milk instead of water, because i was working out heavily at the time, but it was still 3000 calories for two liters. it's like a thick milkshake sludge. very neutral oat flavor.
maybe i'll do a post about how i make it. i've got a lot of free time since armageddon started up.

i started my freshman year of college, and then did it for a year after when i moved off campus. i had a meal plan but i didn't care for the cafeteria food. in my mind, i viewed the shakes (soylent, etc) as "good food" in the sense that it hit all my macros, and i took a multivitamin. so i'd drink it for breakfast every day, usually for lunch also, and usually get cafeteria food for dinner. also, i'd go out to eat with people whenever i had the chance, because i was eating properly for the majority of my meals, so it was excusable to me.
there's a website, diy soylent, which had a bunch of recipes people came up with and i looked at the more popular ones and took the ingredients common to them, and added stuff like peanut butter, banana, chocolate, etc. for flavor.

i'd make it two liters at a time, so that's like 8 cups for a full pitcher, 3000-4000 calories i can't remember how the math worked out. but i'd drink like a third of a pitcher for a meal, so like two large glasses. i'd drink the whole thing in a day or two. also noteworthy is that i was working out regularly at this time, 4000 calories is a lot if you're sedentary.
the texture is like a thick milkshake. i'd often put a small amount of yogurt in it, and in like 8 hours in the fridge it would thicken up a lot as the bacteria grew. flavor was very neutral. the bulk of the carbs comes from oats, but the flavor is dominated by milk and whatever flavor added (like chocolate and peanut butter). i didn't have any problem eating it, and anecdotally i felt very good because i was lifting regularly and i wasn't eating garbage.
it took maybe 10-20 minutes to make (like, getting ingredients out, plugging shit in, measuring and blending). eating it consists of pouring it out and drinking it, so maybe a few minutes each meal. then you just wash the blender out when you finish it off, which is like 5 minutes.
total ingredients, maybe 6-8$ per batch?
