Eating breakfast just makes you hungry all day.

I think it depends if you do it every day...for me when I worked labour intensive jobs which always start early (4.30-7am) I would never eat breakfast. it made me tired and always hungry all day. if I would have some kind of caffeine, I found it hit better on a empty stomach and I could get into a groove, then eat at lunch and after work. but I think if you DO EAT in the morning, you just have to get past the initial tiredness then you are kind of naturally energized till lunch. You do get hunger pangs every 2 hrs but I think its healthier if your working that hard, plus I'd always eat late at night and that would sort of tide me over. donno if digesting while you sleep is better for max gains or a srs disadvantage tho...

If you have calories in the AM it should be carb free. The blood sugar rollercoaster right in the beginning of your day fucks up your energy levels.

depends on how much your meal spikes your insulin. high carbs will spike it massively as most people know, but any meal will result in some insulin secretion. Insulin has an inverse relationship with HGH, so any insulin present at night in REM sleep will hinder your body's natural peak HGH release at that time

Fruits and nuts in the morning made laboring easier I found. Athletes need ludicrous caloric intake to maintain on a pro or even semi-pro level. Children are also calorie hogs and it helps to keep them on a schedule that includes food, makes them more prepared for the tasks of the day.

But really it's all about your schedule, I know plenty of night workers that finish off the work day with "breakfast" before going to bed.
