at the very second i saw this post, i was placing a spoonful of unsweetened shredded wheat, in lowfat milk, wiht a dash of stevia in it. so, yes, it can be done. and flavors are more interesting. it has sugar, but a plain cake bagel is not as sweet, and no sugar rush, and it has a nice oily wheaty flavor.
