*not fried cauliflower rice IE it's not grated up cauliflower masquerading as rice; it's regular old rice fried with chilli, garlic, grated up cauliflower and curry leaves, topped with Maldives fish flakes, crisp-fried shallots and coriander leaves.

I find cheap, tasty and varied options for vegetarian ready meals to be non-existant. You know, like hot pockets or something. There's literally not a single one. I've tried these round vegetarian hotpocket wannabe things and besides being costly and awful, they had practically no vegetables in them. It was all TVP bullshit or whatever tf it was in there.
Bean burritos are too one dimensional to really work here and also lack vegetables.
Samosas are shit unless fried and ain't no one gonna fry one up as a snack.
I don't wanna just eat salad as a quick fix until the end of time or keep hummus around, always. Wtf do you eat when you're peckish at 9pm, when it's too late to cook a full blown meal? Would you buy, say, a mixed vegetable pot pie or hand pie and keep one of those around for such occasions? One that's otherwise identical to a chicken or beef pot/hand pie, but has more vegetables rather than the meat and uses vegetable gravy rather than one made from meat stock. I would.

Consciousness as an emergent property is a concept meat cucks invented to convince themselves it was self-consistent to care about animals at all while still justifying killing and eating them. It's not about doing nothing wrong, it's about doing the least wrong relative to how much good you do. If we were purely carnivores, cat people or whatever, at this stage in our society eating meat would be fine, because we couldn't live without it. But people don't need meat anymore, being a vegetarian or vegan is easy.

If you think that whether an animal's death is "humane" matters, then you value their experience as though they are conscious, because you don't want them to be "hurt" in some capacity, and only a conscious being can feel pain. You are implicitly recognizing that animals are conscious, and then pretending consciousness isn't what it is, and instead give it no actual tangible qualities so that you can use it to justify whatever behavior you want. If consciousness means anything, then either animals are conscious like people and shouldn't be hurt, or are unconscious like you view tables and chairs to be and don't matter at all. In a binary system such as the one you purport to operate under, these are the only two options.

Pasture growth is seasonal, sometimes you have too much sometimes not enough, when you have too much you mow it and make bails of hay and sileage, or you look ahead and shut some areas off, or grow crops on them. Farming animals on pasture is as much about growing the feed as it is growing the animals, no one wants to be forced to buy more expensive feed when they already pay so much for land and spend so long weeding it etc
