My wife used to like eating here, but the one near our house started to go downhill so we stopped going. We've went to chilis for a bit afterwards. This place went to shit when the economy crashed mid 2000s. First time eating there was mid 90s and they were awesome. Now they just suck. I can get a better burger for less $ at a local bar or pub.

No idea the draw. I've been to 4 of them, and it's like the sit down restaurant version of Johnny Rockets. Expensive nostalgia with a draw of bottomless fries that are so oversalted that you wouldn't want extra, which is fine because your server will never reappear to provide them, per the managers cheapass instructions. Here's your check, oh more fries? Hang on...25 mins later...just pay the check and let's get out of here finally. All 4 locations. There's plenty more fast casual burgers to choose from. You're at a Red Robin because you were at the mall or driving on an Interstate. If you really like a good burger at this price point? Visit a quality steak restaurant, and order the cheapest item, the delicious oak grilled prime burger.
