who else is growing veggies or fresh herbs this summer? I recently moved to a house with a lot of space that my roommates aren't using so I was thinking of starting a small potted garden. Dried herbs ain't cutting it. I wanna grow some mint and zuccs since I heard they're impossible to fuck up. But I also heard that zuccs are a fall veg

My main issue is that the space I'd be using is a covered patio, so I'm not sure if there will be enough sunlight. But I live in zone 10, so maybe it'll all even out

(pls post your windowsill gardens)

I grow mint, mostly, zone 6. Considering planting more stuff, but this summer I might move halfway through the US. I want to grow onions and garlic as well, at least.

>neighbor is trying to grow lettuce and tomatoes
>rabbits fucking everywhere
>occasionally gives me huge bags of tomatoes and whatever else I want from his garden
>hear him regularly cursing and yelling across the street outside
>offers me $50 for every rabbit I kill and bring to him
>he'll even butcher the meat for me and let me keep it
ITS WABBIT SEASON, BOYS.

Mint is the fucking devil, even if it's in a pot it will get out through the drain holes and try to escape, so place it in a drain pan. Good thing about mint is that it likes a lot of water so that wont hurt it.

Zone 8 reporting in. We keep getting cold snaps, so I started seedlings indoors but they went all spindly because the grow lamp I purchased from Amazon is a piece of shit. FML. I'm going have to start all over this weekend.
