I don't use it, and so that makes 90% of Asian recipes impossible.

Just a little, occasionally. Maybe a tablespoon in a double batch of pizza dough. A little if it's called for in seasoning meat.

Almost never but I don't cook recipes which genuinely ask for it.

If I cook something that requires a little sweetness I like adding onions and caramelising them slowly or finely grated carrots.

Been baking like a fiend lately. 300 grams of turbinado sugar between 2 quick breads I made.

Sugar-free for over 5 years now. Lost 30 pounds, have kept it off, and my teeth stopped rotting. Sugar is the devil.

Bro you should add sugar to anything you would salt, and vice versa. It will really help your flavor profiles. The new thing everyone is doing is adding honey, but it's the same principle. Ask yourself this : why do major manufacturers add HFCS to everything? Or even if you live in Europe (I live in Germany) there is hidden sugar in all mass produced products. You need a little bit of practice to get a good feel (you don't want to make something that should be savory, sweet) but you do actually want the presence of sugar. You should also add salt to a cake. It's just how the tongue works.

I made homemade salsa yesterday, and it has tons of salt and lime juice (acid) I added about 10g of sugar and it's fucking way better than without. Try it out man, you will be surprised.

I had tea with honey today.
Fuck you.

I pretty much only use sugar when I'm making desserts for the holidays
