We don’t have Trader Joes in Canada because they are too jewish to print labels that have French. And when some guy bought hundreds of thousands of dollars from Trader Joes to sell in Canada they sued him until his business was forced into closure.

That's really sad.

I think you're okay for the most part but some of their condiments are really good.

one time I went into one and the hippie bagging my groceries started asking what I was doing the next day (Earth Day) and gave me a weird attitude when I said I didn't have any special plans. He was going to some big event in some park and told me I should go to it as if I was obligated to go

I go there to buy their pumpernickel bread and their frozen mashed potato pellets. Not much else.

Went in looking for horseradish, tabasco sauce, worcestershire sauce, and tomato juice. All they had was pre-made bloody mary mix. A shitload of those microwave cat-lady meals for one, too. Modern society sucks.

I go in sporadically to buy a specific kind of chocolate they sell. Its mad how many foreigners I see in them. I don't know what else to say. Their produce is ok but they charge by the unit, not by weight.

One time I was in a TJ and I noticed that approximately 80% of all TJ employees are fat lesbians with multi-colored hair and oversized hawaiian shirts.

Like are they just a major employer of humanities degree graduates?

I used to live above a Chinese restaurant across the street from a Trader Joe's.

I went once and noticed that they sold almost nothing but ready meals, snacks/junk foods, fad/gimmick foods and apples. It's for people who don't actually cook so I bought nothing and haven't been back since.

>[Joe] envisioned the stores as being “for overeducated and underpaid people, for all the classical musicians, museum curators, journalists,” as he put it in an interview with The Los Angeles Times in 2011.
