because America has no etiquette for anything in general. America was made with no class system in mind, a lot of people who built it were lower class, and with no one to uphold social norms, they simply disappeared. any degeneracy is allowed and accepted, and people have no real sense of "honor" and "respect". in Asia there are very strict social rules, that would look quite totalitarian in the West, not giving people freedums and all.
