shit absolutely sucks. ivve been a smoker for 9 years and started cooking halfway through there and over the course of 4-5 years everything has become essentially a small meme taste of what they used to be. the shittiest part is salt taste still remains ever so prevalent, while things that your supposed to use sparingly are now harder to taste test in a recipe or sauce like garlic.

I consider adept in apple eating and experimentation, and I can say, without a doubt, Pink Lady is the best. Washington state came out with that Cosmic Crisp, and what a joke. That same shitty artificial texture as the Honey Crisp. An abomination. Jazz comes in second for me.

Red delicious is what I consider the "Boomer" of apples. It is the most popular through all the old media and just the stereotypes. Most people when thinking of apple think of a red delicious. The skin on them is waxy, hard, and borderline atrocious in comparison to pink lady or jazz. The inside of the apple isnt as bad as people might make you think, it is decent, just a bit to sense for my taste. There are far better options.
