Chili thread.
No beanfags allowed.
This was made from a local anons recipe posted a few months ago. 8 arbols, 2 anchos, 2 poblanos, 2 New Mexican chilies, 3 chipotles in adobo, and 2 guajillos blended in chicken stock with ground chuck, onion, garlic, half an amber lager, and seasoned with salt, cumin, and oregano.

if there's no beans but there is meat then it's not chili. chili has beans in it and then if you decide to add meat it's chili con carne

It's not chili if there are no beans. You suck and so does your "chili".

I've never done chili with a bean trifecta. I usually just stick to kidney. Gonna have to give her a go, probably this weekend

I did it the last batch and it was delicious. Won’t make or break the dish tho, it’s nice to have the extra protein.

Looks good, but you should add some epazote for the future, which adds a very subtle flavor. Also: no tomato in chili if you want it texan, and you've got some floating in there yankee

a chili is just a fruit from a Capsicum genus plant.
OP's post seems to be about many different types of chili. If you want a thread about beans then make a separate one

I know it's bait. But it's still stupid. I know some people add beans to chili but beans are not a part of chili any more than crackers, cornbread, or rice are.

Chili is peppers, meat, and seasoning.
