For some reason I am more productive when I don't shower in the morning. I tend to get more done if I get right to work after waking up. How does this make any sense?

Some people keep a journal bedside because there's this little moment of clarity upon waking.

If a shower is exhausting you, then you may have asthma or you're a little out of shape. Shower should wake up the mind and be refreshing.

It's not so much exhausting as the motivation is lost. I end up doing other things, cleaning, cooking, whatever. But not as productive with work or other errands.
