When I make eggs over easy I like to do 4 or 5 at a time but this always messes the yolk when I flip it. Is there a way to do this or do I just have to be patient and do 1 or two at a time?

Look if you really want to learn how to cook just look to YouTube cooking videos that teach basic stuff.
Add oil to vegetables so they brown and caramelize instead of burn and char
You can cook all the water out of most vegetables with a bit of oil and salt and add the rest after so you don't boil everything in mushroom or cabbage juice.
You can par boil food to lock into water or extract it depending on the food.
How to sear meat on high heat.
Do not buy every pot pan and gadget just get a pan, a pot, a bowl, a spoon, fork, cutting board and a knife

I suppose this sounds like the best way. Any channel recommendations? All I really can cook is rice, ground beef and eggs. I just eat a rice and beef bowl every single day. Its pretty tasty and good for post-workout but itd be nice to have cooking options. I tried to make a tuna casserole last week and it was disgusting in multiple ways. I still ate it because poorfag but yeah I don't know how to go past rice and beef bowl

The problem is that so little of the board comes down to discussion. There's such a modicum of actual cooking knowledge around here that the majority of threads come down to things that don't merit discussion. "How to do x?" "What's better, y or z?" All of those things are easily looked up. If there were actual cooking enthusiasts here, they'd be talking about differences and variations in recipes, opinions on varying methods, and rare or unusual ingredients. But like the rest of this shithole site, it's distilled down to racism, trolling, and ineptitude.

Simply become better at flipping, the number of eggs only matters depending on the size of the pan you are using. Maybe use a bigger pan if you are confident in your skills otherwise.
As for your concern over /ck/ not being useful a handy tip for navigating this site is to see if a board has a sticky. If it does then you'll get good info from that board, if it doesn't you won't. Have a graph, on the house.

>If there were actual cooking enthusiasts here
There are plenty, it's just that usually people don't always want to talk about the same things

Me, I really wish that there were more people interested in clarified milk punch and clarifying drinks in general
It's fucking tasty, but if I made a thread (at literally any time of day) it'd get like 10 responses

meanwhile, everyone has an opinion on things like fast food because it's easily accessible

/ck/ is as fast as a hobby board like /o/ or even /tg/, but there's an entry barrier that requires you to have a lot of money (for restaurants) or a lot of skill in the kitchen--which means that the only discussions everyone can join in on are the lowest level ones

That guy is probably part of the very problem he’s describing. In reality, there is much more useful information and good social interaction here than on most sites, especially social media. Sure, you have to dig for it and ignore the shitposts, but at least it’s there. He also doesn’t realize that a lot of the best threads are off topic for the board they’re posted on.

A sticky allows for more sensible moderation and allows the board to self-moderate as well. Without that it is generally a free for all. Most boards should have one. I've been bringing this up on /ck/ for a while now to no avail. It'd take an afternoon to make at most.

4chan has gotten worse over the years. There used to be actual chefs and threads from professional food reviewers. In a race to the bottom, it's devolved into fast food shitposting and e-celeb bullshit. Some people still do cooking advice or cook-a-longs, but they aren't nearly as common as they used to be.

The board's rules are posted on /rules, why fag up the board with perrenial info graphics to coddle people? If you can't cook feel free to browse /tv/ or read a book. I seriously don't see how this would help anyone who posts here

You get the idea. Threads that get reposted ad nauseam can be sensibly removed. This isn't about needing to be coddled, this is about cleaning up the board and encouraging discussion and enthusiasm instead of cooking 101.

Most of her channel will teach you how to cook just binge watch a few videos and you will find most soups are add everything brown it add liquid bring to boil simmer eat.
She also explains why you do the step that helps you understand what your really doing. (Add oil or your food will burn, heat up pan or the food will stick when you put it in.)
Check out food wishes to the guy talks weird but everything is solid advice and he gives alternatives just check the older vids for the simple stuff.

Because this is a site that lets anyone post and the moderation is the opposite of a Silicon Valley site's "Trust and Safety" team. If you go to /k/, it's more about "look how rich I am" or sperging out over whether or not only AR15s are acceptable for home defense than actually how well you can shoot a gun and how to improve. The same goes here: it's all about using food as a vehicle to shit on other countries and obsessions over junk food brands and fast food chains.

It's still better than getting shadow-banned on plebbit for angering some tranny with a pocket mod.
